WinNc 8 is an NC clone file manager inspired by the dual panel concept of the old file manager Norton Commander.
It has shortcuts to all Windows 7 special folders and several tab interfaces that allow you to manage your data with projects.
Projects can include files and folders from all disks that are related to the project tab and stored virtually in the project folder as links.
With the new Windows 7 interface, WinNc can do all the basic tasks that you expect from modern file managers like copying, moving, deleting, compacting, opening compression and creating links.
WinNc uses logical colors for file actions so you can quickly see if the file is Green: being copied, Orange: being moved or Yellow: being packaged.
WinNc allows you to do many tasks by setting the maximum parallel task to more than one task in the configuration panel.
Otherwise, WinNc will wait to start a new action until the previous action is complete.
WinNc can also convert audio, burn files on DVD and CD, create and read ISO files, set file attributes so you can save your files to synchronize using the internal sync module.
From the existing zip file, it is possible to create a self extracting .exe file.
It has a built in slideshow viewer, audio player preview and video player for fast browsing and skipping through your media.
